Elevate Coffee Lab is one of those places where you instantly feel the passion behind it. Located in De Pijp — just steps from the Albert Cuyp market — this specialty café is the pride of the neighbourhood. Owner Ahmad Alshikh dreamed up this concept years ago, and it shows in every detail. The space is sleek and split into three parts: a filter bar, espresso bar and signature cocktail and food counter. Exposed brick, steel finishes, and design touches like a built-in wall light give it a cool, industrial edge. The coffee? Mostly from Keen Coffee in Utrecht, where Ahmad was once head roaster — so yes, he knows exactly what he’s serving.
